Should you use a shampoo after the Scrub?+
No. Once a week, the Scrub replaces shampoo. On other wash days, use the shampoo suited to your scalp.
What’s the difference compared with the Purifying & Balancing Shampoo?+
The Scrub is the weekly exfoliating step: it exfoliates and purifies the scalp to help remove buildup. The Purifying & Rebalancing Shampoo is the cleansing step for the other days, designed for roots that become greasy quickly and excess sebum.
How often should I use the Démélé Scrub?+
Once a week. On Scrub day, it replaces shampoo. For other washes, follow your usual routine with the shampoo suited to your scalp.
Is it suitable for color-treated hair?+
Yes. Démélé products are suitable for color-treated hair. For the Scrub, apply it to the scalp and use gentle motions, avoiding excessive rubbing on the lengths.
Is it suitable for sensitive scalps?+
The products are tested under dermatological supervision, and usage tests indicate good tolerance of the tested products. If your scalp is sensitive, start gradually and adjust the frequency according to how your scalp feels. In case of unusual discomfort, discontinue use. If you have a very sensitive scalp, irritation, or a known condition, seek medical or dermatological advice.
